Each piece in this collection is cast in Sterling Silver from an authentic antique wax seal, many dating to the 1700s and 1800s. Once used to seal letters and correspondence, these tiny works of art carried symbols and mottos chosen to express what words alone often could not—love, devotion, courage, hope and remembrance.
We search antique shops, markets and collections for these seals, researching their imagery, heraldry and original meanings. Each pendant is then hand-finished in our Ohio studio, preserving every detail of the centuries-old original.
